The name says it all! It's a melt in mouth cookie equally loved by kids and grown ups :)
I love to bake these cookies as it is a one bowl recipe! Less ingredients, easy and fast to make and am sure you will make these cookies again and again as it will be in demand. This recipe uses oil instead of butter and it is eggless!
This is a perfect little holiday treat and I hope you enjoy :)
Ingredients
All purpose flour/ Maida - 2 cup
Powdered sugar - 1 1/2 cup
Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil-3/4 cup
Salt-a pinch
Method
1. In a wide bowl add flour/ maida, powdered sugar, baking powder and salt and mix well.
2. Add oil little by little to the above mixture until you get a soft dough. (sometime you may need to add a little over 3/4 oil)
3. Roll in hands to a small lemon size shape.
4. Transfer it to a parchment paper /Baking sheet
4. Bake at 180 degrees for about 15-18 minutes until you get a very light brown color.
5. Cool it on a wired rack and dust it with confectioner's sugar.
Note: Let them cool completely before you store in air tight containers.
